What is love? I’ve read so much articles and watched so much movies about it. It is about two people falling in love and actually running away together to fight for their love, and building their own family and etc. But no, that’s not the true meaning of love. We shouldn’t depend on movies, books, or articles to make our own love story. This is our life, we should make our own love story. The cold truth about fairy tales and all romantic movies, is that, it doesn’t apply in real life. It doesn’t work that way in reality. Now a days, people easily give up on love. Sometimes, they kill themselves, and sometimes, they kill the person they love for not loving them back. We live in world full of hypocrites. That’s the reality. But, nope. That’s not how I picture true love. No slow motions, no butterflies, none of them exist in my vocabulary. A simple way of knowing you are in love is when you get to see two sides of the person, and still accept them for who they are. Their flaws, insecurities and etc. But, it doesn’t mean you have to rush things with love. In our generation since we are still teenagers, we should enjoy life and let love find its way to come to you. It shouldn’t be the opposite. Life has so much surprises for us, that is why the quote “Expect the unexpected” is invented. We don’t know what the future holds but, I’m pretty sure there’s a whole lot of things, people, and etc. that comes and goes, and some that will be there for us throughout our journey. This is why we don’t have to rush things. And always remember that, LOVE is unexpected. :)
Love,
